    This simple and unassuming donut shop right by the freeway on Alhambra makes some of the best croissant sandwiches I have had. I love the ham and cheese croissant!! I think the secret is the "Swiss American" cheese which I have only seen in major bulk at Smart & Final. I've tried to recreate these at home, but it's not the same without that cheese! They also make donuts fresh each day, never too oily and consistently good. I'm partial to the blueberry cake donut. Yum! They are no hipster donut shop and don't pretend to be, just a small locally owned shop that produces good quality donuts. I would highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the area

    The atmosphere is weird and stagnant. Degenerates lounging around inside like house cats. The owner is not paying attention. Sitting there reading his phone while I was standing at the counter, until his wife told him there was a customer. He was unfriendly and stared at me angrily, after I gave my order, as if he didn't hear me. I speak VERY clearly (not paying attention). The donut holes sucked. The icing tastes like pure sugar. The cinnamon rolls have too much air. It all went right into the garbage. How is this place still in business?

    Always have good service and great donuts at this shop. They do a huge croissant breakfast sandwich too. Delicious!

    I live right in the area and have passed by this place for 6 years before I went in.  Why?  I am not a huge donut fan and I am not interested in wasting my calories.  That being said, I came in the door a few months ago and was impressed by the quality and freshness of the product.  I have been in several times since.  They have one of the best maple bars around.  Light and fluffy with a great icing.  The cake donuts are great as well.  

    What did I learn today?  They also serve taro pearl drinks.
